Bear Cave Wrestlers Shine at Kids National Championships in Cedar Rapids, Iowa

Bear Cave Wrestling had an outstanding showing at the Kids National Freestyle and Greco-Roman Championships in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Our athletes battled against some of the toughest competition in the country and proudly brought home national honors.

• Traycen Wegele dominated the Freestyle division, earning 1st Place and claiming a national title. He also fought hard in Greco-Roman, finishing 4th Place.
• Cipriano Duran displayed grit and determination throughout the Greco-Roman bracket, finishing 6th Place.
• Declan Collins represented Bear Cave with heart, earning 8th Place in the Freestyle division.

We’re incredibly proud of these young athletes for their effort, discipline, and sportsmanship on the national stage. The future is bright for Bear Cave Wrestling!
